Characters: Forrest, Jenny Curran, Mumma, Bubba, Lieutenant Dan, Coach Byrant and His Football Team
Plot: The story is about a boy named Forrest Gump, who leads a normal life, until one day when his mum sends him to school for the first time. At first he does not get along with anyone except for a girl named Jenny Curran.
When Forrest gets older he starts getting along with kids at his school. So he trys out for the school football team, that's where he meets coach Byrant. So when the team started playing, he had no idea on what to do, he asked his coach. The coach explained. So when it was time for Forrest to have a go at kicking the ball, he kicks the ball straight through the middle of the goal posts. Everyone was surprised at him. (Pretty much after that everyone starts being his friend)
Forrest then decides to join the US Army. In his travels he meets a friend named Bubba. Forrest and Bubba become friends over the period of time that they are together. Suddenly Forrest has to go to war against Vietnam, with his other war buddies. This is where Forrest meets Lieutenant Dan.
After the war is over Bubba is shot and killed. Lieutenant Dan is shot in the legs several times but Forrest saves him.
